Below you will find the „Behavior Weekly,“ a list of recent educational discoveries that helped me to upgrade my life in a significant manner.
Enjoy.
🤯Life Rule that I’m trying to implement
“If something is impeding your development, it is your moral obligation to sacrifice it and move on.”
👽Habit of the Week
Stoicism Affirmations
One of my new habits that is really starting to pay off big time for me is to listen to affirmations before I go to sleep.
At first, it’s really weird to brainwash yourself by the end of the day, but after some time you get used to it and you can internalize some of the greatest thoughts of all time and make them your own.
💻Content of the Week
My Interview with Jeff Kreisler
The 19th episode of the Psychology Podcast with Daniel Karim features Jeff Kreisler a former Princeton lawyer, best selling author, price winning comedian, and advocate for behavioral science.
📚Book of the Week
The Gay Science – Friedrich Nietzsche
Nietzsche called The Gay Science “the most personal of all my books.” It was here that he first proclaimed the death of God—to which a large part of the book is devoted—and his doctrine of the eternal recurrence.
🧠Exercise
Future Self Meditation
One of the rituals that made a big difference in my personal development was to implement a routine into my busy schedule where I put an hour aside in order to consult my future self about difficult life challenges.
That’s it, folks!
